OKTOBERFEST 2019 @Aryaduta Jakarta 31 Years and Keeps Getting Bigger and Better
JAKARTA, August 2019 – Oktoberfest 2019 at Aryaduta Jakarta is coming back bigger, bolder and so much better. For 30 years Aryaduta Jakarta has presented the most anticipated German festival in Jakarta and this year marks the 31st Oktoberfest on September 19th and 20th, 2019. “As the longest Oktoberfest organizer in Jakarta, we really are unstoppable and keep making it the biggest and brightest event every single year! “Said Dirk Fischbach, General Manager of Aryaduta Jakarta.
The largest folk festival with roots in Bavarian tradition is celebrated in many cities around the world including Jakarta. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since the year 1810 when Crown Prince Ludwig married German princess, Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. Other cities around the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations that are modeled after the original Munich event. Aryaduta Jakarta has been hosting this festival since 1988. Making it one of the hotel’s annual tradition.
This year’s festivity will take place on 19th and 20th of September at The Ballroom of Aryaduta Jakarta and extension beer garden area which will be decorated in traditional Bavarian style with long wooden tables and a stage featuring Garmisch Partenkirchen Musikanten, a 10-members band flown directly from Germany. Waiters and waitresses will be wearing Bavarian inspired uniforms and Master Chef Simon Fraundorfer will prepare an authentic Bavarian smorgasbord consisting of the traditional sausages as well as goulash, pork knuckle, bretzn, Bavarian sweets and so much more.

At this German Festival, there’s plenty of fun competition for adults includes electric bull riding, jug holding, log sawing and many more.
