APPOINTMENT OF A NEW GENERAL MANAGER AT RENAISSANCE BALI ULUWATU RESORT AND SPA
BALI, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Chandrashekhar Joshi (CJ) as the new General Manager as of September 2019.
Chandrashekhar, known as CJ, started his career with Marriott International in 2000 with Le Meridien Pune where he found home in F&B Department. He continued to grow his journey within the industry by joining Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre and MEA, before stepping out of the department that shaped his career by assuming position as Associate Director of Sales.
CJ was appointed Director of Sales in JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu in 2009 and he continued to accomplish more in his career when he assumed position as Director of Operations in 2013 with Courtyard Mumbai International Airport. An alumnus of Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutririon, Pusa, New Delhi has his first experience as General Manager in 2014 with JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa – leading pre-opening team of the first JW Marriott resort in India, where he achieved striking performance in generating profit and GuestVoice score.
Later in 2017, he joined JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa where he, again, led pre-opening team to be the leading wedding destination hotel in the country. He is twice-recipient of Marriott International’s General Manager Leadership Excellence Award in 2017 and 2019 for both his stints as GM in two different properties.
